Born and raised to challenge common assumptions and to achieve the impossible, Bertrand Piccardcomes from a legendary family of explorers and scientists who reached both the stratosphere and the abyss. He made history by achieving two pioneering firsts in aviation: around-the-world non-stop in a balloon, and more recently, in a the solar-powered airplane without fuel.
To further promote efficient energy solutions and clean technologies, he is now preparing the first non-stop, zero-emission circumnavigation aboard a green hydrogen-powered aircraft.
