Bio:

After studying Biotechnology Engineering, Timothée SILVESTRE worked as a biologist at the Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research (ISREC) in Lausanne, and then as a research engineer at the Lyon Bioinformatics Center (CNRS), after obtaining a degree in Computer Engineering. After working on genetic sequence alignment algorithms as part of the European DATAGRID computing grid project led by CERN, he earned an MBA at IAE Lyon3. After serving as an innovation expert in sustainable construction at ARIST (Burgundy Chamber of Commerce), he led the SPORALTEC cluster specializing in sports innovation. He joined CEA in 2015 as head of the Ideas Laboratory, which he directed for 4 years, and is currently focusing on technology monitoring and foresight missions within CEA Y spot.
