Bio:

Dr. Kun-Lin Lin currently serves as Deputy Director and Group Leader of the Materials Analysis Division at the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI), part of the National Institutes of Applied Research (NIAR). He leads multidisciplinary teams focused on next-generation semiconductor manufacturing and advanced characterization technologies. With more than two decades of experience spanning both industry and national research laboratories—including positions at Inotera Memories and TSRI—Dr. Lin specializes in bridging academic innovation with industrial semiconductor applications within Taiwan’s semiconductor ecosystem.

Abstract:

As the semiconductor industry enters the AI and Angstrom-scaling era, TSRI serves as Taiwan’s national platform connecting academia and industry. TSRI provides open-access nanofabrication, IC design, advanced packaging, and materials analysis services, while supporting startup field validation and accelerating innovation from research to industrial application.
