
Frederic Boeuf
Bio:
Frédéric Boeuf, born in 1972, obtained his engineering degree (M.Eng.) and master's degree (M.Sc.) from the Grenoble Institute of Technology (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble) in 1996, followed by a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from the University of Grenoble in 2000. He then joined STMicroelectronics, where he worked on advanced device physics and their integration. In 2012, he received the General Ferrié Grand Electronics Prize from the SEE (Société de l'Électricité, de l'Électronique et des Technologies de l'Information) for his work on FDSOI technology. He is currently a fellow and technical director within the Technology and Design Platform organization at STMicroelectronics, serving as architect and head of the advanced R&D team in silicon photonics.
