
Keiji Tanaka
BIO:
Keiji Tanaka received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology in Aichi, Japan, in 1993 and 1995, respectively. In 1995, he joined Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. in Kanagawa, Japan. He has been engaged in the research and development of SiGe/InP HBT ICs for modulator drivers and transimpedance amplifiers, InP high-speed optical modulators, and optical sub-assembly modules for high-speed, low-power optical data links. Since 2024, he has served as the department head of the Photonic-Electric Integration Technologies Department at the Transmission Device Laboratory. He is currently focused on developing photonic-electronic integration technologies using silicon photonics and InP optical devices.
